Most of you will recall that I do love a nice romantic ballad - if nothing else, they can give a singer the opportunity to off-load a little excess emotion.  Over the years though, experience informed me that I had to be careful when to perform ballads. Such as: never in a very warm room and never more than one song at a time - because.....usually it would send everyone to sleep!
